It’s Shelomi Sanders’ birthday, and her brother Shedeur Sanders had a special wish for her. The Alabama A&M guard was born to Deion and Pilar Sanders on Dec. 14, 2003, in Plano, Texas. She's the fifth child of Deion Sanders and the third of Pilar.
In an Instagram story on Saturday, Shedeur Sanders posted a picture of himself with Shelomi after a game during their time at Jackson State. The quarterback captioned the post:
“Happy birthday @shelomisanders"

In the post made by the Colorado quarterback, Shelomi herself wore a Shedeur-themed T-shirt, showcasing her support for the quarterback at a time when his career was getting right on track.
Shedeur Sanders sending birthday wishes far away from Shelomi
Shedeur Sanders is sending Shelomi birthday wishes from miles away for the first time in recent years. The two have been based in the same city until this year.
With Deion Sanders taking the Jackson State football coaching job, Shedeur and Shelomi attended and competed for the school in football and basketball respectively. They also moved alongside the coach to Boulder when he was named the Colorado football coach.
However, Shelomi moved separate ways earlier this year, hitting the transfer portal. She subsequently announced her transfer to Alabama A&M, marking her return to the Southwestern Athletic Conference.
Her decision came as a surprise to many in collegiate athletics. It wasn't thought that she would look to continue her college basketball career away from the rest of her family. Shelomi explained why she exited Boulder in August.
"For me, I would say, yeah, last year during the beginning where I just came home sad every day," Shelomi Sanders said on the livestream in August. "I was sad and mad like every day.”
“I don’t want to say anything too bad. It just wasn’t good energy. It wasn’t good vibes. There wasn’t enough being poured into me as a player and young lady. If I didn’t leave when I did, I promise you I would’ve quit.”
Deion Sanders expressed his discontent about the move, but Shelomi made her own decision. She was, however, a regular at Folsom Field to support her family before the start of the college basketball season.
