After a disappointing 28-10 loss to the Nebraska Cornhuskers in Week 2, the Colorado Buffaloes have been dragged back to contention by the brilliance of stars Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter. Since then, they have reeled off three consecutive wins, with the most impressive one coming on the road against the UCF Knights in Week 5 of college football action.

Sanders and Hunter are poised to make the inevitable step up to the NFL via the 2025 Draft, and the Buffs quarterback is already making plans for his time in the league. During an episode of his "2Legendary" podcast, Shedeur revealed which expensive car he would be the first to own in the league.

"I'm definitely gonna be the first NFL player that gets a Bugatti, that I know of personally, we're gonna say that. I'm gonna do that, when the right time, when the perfect time comes," Sanders said.

Shedeur Sanders gets major draft prospects by analyst

Shedeur Sanders has had a sensational season so far. He has registered 1,630 yards on 70.1% completion, resulting in 14 touchdowns and three interceptions.

During an episode of ESPN's "First Draft," analyst Mel Kiper Jr. was unequivocal in his praise for the Colorado quarterback's resilience in the face of playing behind a porous offensive line.

"Shedeur Sanders has had to survive," Kiper said. "I don't know any other quarterback that could, and still be out there ... to keep getting back up and competing. I'm ready to put Shedeur at QB1, I really am, just because of that reason."

Kiper hypothesized how Shedeur would perform while playing for an elite team like the Georgia Bulldogs or the Texas Longhorns like their quarterbacks Carson Beck and Quinn Ewers do.

"They can't block up front and give him enough to not get hit," the analyst added. "I don't care about sacks, how many times does he get hit? How many times is he under duress? And I see him competing and making plays.
"I just wonder how these other guys would fare, and I wonder how, if we had Shedeur with these powerhouses in college football, like Georgia, how would he fare... what would we be saying about Shedeur, if he were playing for those teams right now?"

Scouts and analysts are also taking notice of other intangibles that might just boost Shedeur up the draft board come next year's NFL Draft.
