Quarterback Shedeur Sanders will gear up one final time for the Colorado Buffaloes. Coach Prime's son will be participating during their showdown against the BYU Cougars in the Alamo Bowl. The Buffs finished in the Big 12 with a 9-3 record, losing out on competing for the Big 12 title due to their loss to the Kansas Jayhawks.

Shedeur Sanders is projected to be a top pick in the 2025 NFL draft. However, his first priority will be ending his collegiate campaign with a Bowl game victory. After the selection committee announced the matchups, Shedeur got into a FaceTime with Miami QB Cam Ward.

During the conversation, Shedeur Sanders teased Cam Ward by talking about how the Hurricanes were lucky they weren't facing Colorado in the Bowl games. Miami is scheduled to take on Iowa State in the Pop-Tart Bowl.

"You lucky we weren't able to see y'all out there," Shedeur said. "You lucky.. You lucky we weren't able to see them Canes."
"I'm lucky? YOU'RE LUCKY!" Cam Ward responded.

Both Shedeur and Cam Ward put up some impressive numbers this season. The Colorado QB finished the season with a total of 3,926 yards and 35 touchdowns passing. He also won the Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award for his impressive performance on the field.

On the other hand, Cam Ward helped the Miami Hurricanes record a 10-2 campaign. He tallied a total of 4,123 yards and 36 touchdowns passing and will be declaring for the 2025 NFL Draft. Ward was also named as the ACC Offensive Player of the Year.

NFL Draft analyst believes Coach Prime will dictate Shedeur Sanders' professional future

NFL Draft analyst Todd McShay has a very interesting perspective on Shedeur's draft projections. He believes that Deion Sanders will play a big role in deciding which team drafts his son next year.

McShay also questioned if this will prove to be a successful tactic for Shedeur and if teams will be willing to draft him according to his father's directions.

"Coach Prime is absolutely going to control where he (Shedeur Sanders) goes. And you got about seven teams projected right now to draft him in the top 10 that need a quarterback."
"He (Deion Sanders) is going to dictate, kind of, maybe there's two or three organizations that he'd be willing to let his son go play for so come up and get him. But how willing is a team going to be to give what it might require to go get a guy who might have been QB4 in last year's draft."

The Colorado vs BYU Alamo Bowl is scheduled to be played on December 28. The game will kick off at 7:30 p.m. ET at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas. Fans can watch the game on their television live on the ABC channel.
