Shilo Sanders is in the news for his comments on the devastating Los Angeles wildfires tearing through Pacific Palisades, California. The blazes, driven by wild Santa Ana winds, have destroyed thousands of structures, leaving many in crisis.

Shilo shared his concerns on Instagram, revealing that a close friend had lost everything in the disaster.

"I'm always gon ask questions because the safety of my friends and their families are at risk," Shilo said. "I think we all should continue to ask questions to find ways of prevention and ways to help.”

In a podcast, Shilo voiced confusion about the fires, questioning how they remain uncontrolled despite California’s resources.

“How can you not put out a fire... with all the water that's in California?” he said, adding a suggestion that someone might be “running around California lighting fires.”

One Instagram user urged Shilo to “go and do your research” about wildfire causes, but Shilo wasn’t having it. His three-word clapback — “do your research” — grabbed the attention of many.

With 10 lives lost and over 9,000 structures damaged, this wildfire could become America’s costliest yet.

Shilo is stepping out of his father’s shadow and making a name for himself in the music world with his debut album, "Hate 2 Love." The Buffaloes safety surprised fans on January 3 by announcing his entry into the rap scene.

The album blends hip-hop and rap, features Shilo’s creative side, and showcases the Sanders family’s talent pool.

His mother, Pilar Sanders, showed him love on social media. Coach Prime’s ex-wife took to Instagram to share her pride, posting a screenshot of the album cover with a heartfelt caption:

“FINALLY!!!!!! I’M SO PROUD OF YOU SON! THIS IS 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥.”

Shilo isn’t the first Sanders to dabble in music. His father, Deion Sanders, released "Prime Time" in 1994, and his brother, Shedeur, gained recognition with "Perfect Timing," released in May last year.
