On Saturday, safety Shilo Sanders made a bold claim to his brother, Deion Sanders Jr., who is also a video producer for the Colorado Buffaloes. Before the game against the Utah Utes, he said that "something big is going to happen." He expressed his intention to deliver the final blow to a struggling Utah defense in the fourth quarter.
Shilo backed up his claim with a huge sack, pummeling Utah quarterback Isaac Wilson and forcing a fumble that gave the Buffaloes a leg-up even though the defense recovered it. Within two plays, Travis Hunter was in for the score as the Colorado Buffaloes secured a decisive 49-24 win against the Utes.
Deion Sanders' eldest son shared the video on Well Off Media's YouTube channel.
Sanders shared a clip of the moment the touchdown was made and the following celebrations on TikTok.
Shilo Sanders' Colorado blow out Utah
The Buffalos' celebrations started early that day at Folsom Field, as superfan Peggy Coppom celebrated her 100th birthday along with the Big Noon Kickoff crew.
Colorado fans panicked when quarterback Shedeur Sanders threw an interception in the first pass. However, he overcame a shaky start to throw three touchdown passes. Later in the game, wide receiver LaJohntay Wester returned a 76-yard punt for a score that helped the Buffaloes win.
Two-way standout Travis Hunter impressed fans and pundits alike with a 28-yard catch between two Utah defenders. Hunter also had a 5-yard score with only 2:22 minutes remaining on the clock to reverse and seal the victory.
Deion Sanders Jr. joins brothers in heckling Deion Sanders about $400,000 bonus
After Colorado's 41-27 win over Texas Tech last Saturday, Deion Sanders reportedly earned a $100,000 bonus, bringing his total to $400,000 for the season. When sons Shedeur and Shilo confronted him about the payout, Sanders humorously denied the claims.
The joke continued when Deion Sanders Jr. tagged Colorado athletic director Rick George on X (formerly Twitter), asking if the report was true.
