Shilo Sanders trolled UCF QB KJ Jefferson following Colorado's win against the Knights on Saturday. Despite the Knights entering the game as the favorite, the Buffaloes staged an upset in their Big 12 encounter, recording a dominant 48-21 win.
Following the conclusion of the game in Orlando, Shilo Sanders posted an old offseason photo of KJ Jefferson's locker. The locker had an image that showed a quote from Skip Bayless about Shedeur Sanders along with a picture of the Colorado quarterback, which read:
“He's not just the best QB in the Big 12 conference, but he's the best in [the] country.”

Shilo Sanders edited the photo of Jefferson's locker by adding the word "Facts" with an arrow pointing to his brother, Shedeur Sanders, on his Instagram story.
Why does KJ Jefferson have the picture of Shedeur Sanders in his locker?
Having a picture of a rival quarterback stuck on a player’s locker is something strange. However, KJ Jefferson sees it as a source of motivation to become a better player. During his appearance at the Big 12 media days in July, Jefferson explains the reason behind the move.
"I was just looking for some in-house motivation to make sure that I have a competitive edge and making sure that I'm going into each situation, each day, each practice, each film study, each OTA with a competitive edge and the chip on my shoulder," Jefferson said, per CBS Sports.
"It just gives you that edge, that fire to make sure that you don't take anything for granted."
Shedeur Sanders lived up to the hype in the game against UCF on Saturday, leading Colorado to what's probably their best game of the season so far. He threw for 290 yards and three touchdowns as the Buffaloes went on to claim the convincing win in Orlando, Florida.
Shilo Sanders was absent from the UCF game
Shilo Sanders was once again not in the Colorado lineup in the game against UCF on Saturday. The safety suffered an injury against Nebraska, which required surgery. Colorado coach Deion Sanders refused to rule him out of the game against Knight in his media availability on Tuesday.
“Shilo is on pace to be back. I'm not going to count out this week (at UCF). I'm not going to count that out. But if he holds off this week, that'll give him two more weeks, which is pretty smart.
“Shilo is a fighter. He’s been working hard to get back, but we’ll have to see how he feels later in the week. If he’s not ready, we’ll give him another week to recover fully,” Sanders said.
Following his absence against UCF on Saturday, it is expected that safety will return to action against Kansas State in Week 7 following the team’s off week. Shilo Sanders was the Buffaloes’ leading tackler in 2023 and remains an important player in the defense.
