Skip Bayless’ Colorado playoff projection put in the trash by fans: “Oregon would beat them by 50”

Sports analyst Skip Bayless is known for his wild takes in the sports world. As the host of "Undisputed," he is one of the most famous sportscasters in America. After the No. 18-ranked Colorado Buffaloes (8-2) picked up a 49-24 win over Utah on Saturday, he went on social media to discuss the team.

Bayless praised coach Deion Sanders and made some bold proclamations, including calling the Buffs "the hottest team in America." Bayless believes CU will win out the rest of the regular season, win the Big 12 championship game and make the College Football Playoff.

Additionally, Skip Bayless said he hopes the Colorado Buffaloes have the opportunity to have a rematch against the No. 1-ranked Oregon Ducks in the playoffs, and if they play, he thinks Colorado would win.

Not all fans agreed with Bayless. Many thought the Buffaloes had no chance of beating the Ducks, citing the fact that Oregon is better than last year.

"Um Oregon is even better than they were last year lol...Oregon would trash them," one fan wrote.

"I'd love to see it too, but Skip Colorodo if you look at Oregon defensive front as much colorado o line has improved, they are still not where they need to be to make a deep run. I think Deion is COTY I think they win the Big 12, honestly, that's about it, but it would be fun," one fan commented.

"Colorado hype man Clickbait Bayless . Let me know when Colorado beats a top 20 team in the nation. They have not beat anyone worth mentioning...," one fan added.

More fans outright disagreed with Skip Bayless, thinking that the potential matchup would not even be close.

"Colorado a beat Oregon by 50," a fan wrote.

"Maybe look at the records of the teams that they beat and maybe look at the only top 20 team that they played and they lost to in Kansas State," another commented.

"They beat Baylor, Skip. Lost to Kansas State. But keep cooking, bro," one fan added.

Skip Bayless continues to praise the Sanders family

Skip Bayless did more than hype up the Colorado Buffaloes in his video. He also gave a lot of praise to the Sanders family, crediting Deion Sanders as one of the best coaches in college football.

Additionally, he said that while he thinks Buffaloes two-way star Travis Hunter deserves the Heisman Trophy, he wanted quarterback Shedeur Sanders to be in the conversation with the other top quarterbacks. Bayless also called them the "two best players in all of college football."
