Coach Prime's Colorado Buffaloes suffered a few disappointing losses to finish what was otherwise a successful season. Their 37-21 loss to Kansas in the second last game of the regular season ended their chances of making the Big 12 Championship Game or College Football Playoff. Then, they lost 36-14 to No. 17-ranked BYU in the Alamo Bowl.

On New Year's Eve, Jason Whitlock said a bad attitude from many of the Buffs players was to blame for their blowout loss to BYU.

"My source described to me that the Buffaloes spent two nights in a strip club that they basically rented out," Whitlock said in a video posted on his YouTube channel (starts at 6:22). "Christmas and the day after Christmas. This was primarily offensive players. It did not, I was told, include Travis Hunter because he does not go to clubs, as we've heard from Hunter's girlfriend. He would sit outside of clubs rather than go inside.
"Hunter is kind of nerdy in a good way, not a night club guy. Many of the rest of the offensive players, maybe a handful of defensive players, all spent two nights partying at a Texas strip club. And you wonder why their focus wasn't there. Money wasn't there and so their focus wasn't there.
"It was on, how can we have as much fun as possible?... And they got their butts kicked and got embarrassed. What a fitting potential end."

Will Coach Prime be around to change the culture of the team next season?

Colorado was one of the worst programs in college football for years. However, when Coach Prime arrived two years ago, he brought a new attitude. He sparked life into the program, bringing stars Travis Hunter and Shedeur Sanders with him.

However, while Coach Prime has said several times that he wants to stay in Colorado, there are rumors that he will go to the NFL next season. With Shedeur Sanders leaving for the NFL, many insiders believe Coach Prime could follow him.

The New York Giants, Las Vegas Raiders, New York Jets and New Orleans Saints are rumored to be interested.
