The Colorado Buffaloes (4-1, 2-0) return full-strength at Folsom Field in Week 7 to take on the No.18 Kansas State Wildcats (4-1, 1-1) in their third Big 12 matchup of the 2024 college football season. Returning from injury and joining his father, Deion Sanders is Buffaloes safety Shilo Sanders.
Before the Colorado vs Kansas State game began, Shilo and Coach Prime shared a wholesome moment on the field. As the Buffs defender was stretching and warming up before the big game, Coach Prime hugged his son, who had been out of the squad since the Week 2 game against Nebraska.
The 24-year-old suffered a broken forearm but is now back to help Colorado extend their undefeated run in the Big 12. Apart from Shilo, Deion's quarterback son, Shedeur Sanders, and his top firearm, Travis Hunter, would be expected to bring their A-game to Boulder.

Coach Prime's Colorado is ready for Kansas State challenge
Coach Prime is confident ahead of the Week 7 challenge, especially when stopping the Wildcats’ notorious run game. On College GameDay, Coach Prime shared his thoughts on the matchup:
“We just got to stop the run, put some pressure on the pass.”
The Colorado HC doesn’t plan to do anything extraordinary. He wants his players to keep it simple, cramp up running lanes, and apply pressure on the opponent’s quarterback, forcing him to make a mistake.
Sanders, who backed up his recruiting strategy on the show, has always strived to build a balanced team based on speed and size. The Pro Football Hall of Famer also stressed his trust in Colorado’s specialists:
“I like our chances and I like our specialists.”
For Coach Prime, his defense’s ability to execute is key. While Sanders planned his team’s strategy, he was less thrilled about one thing —the late kickoff at 10:15 p.m. ET.
“Who does that? It doesn’t make sense”
Nonetheless, expect Colorado to prove itself under the lights.
