The Colorado Buffaloes were in for a shock in week 7. Deion Sanders' boys looked poised to snap their fifth victory of the season when they took a healthy halftime lead against the Stanford Cardinal. But the second half had some surprises in store.

The Stanford Cardinal came back from 0-29 down to force double overtime and then take the win home. During one play Elic Ayomanor pulled off a stunning catch reminiscent of Randy Moss' one-handed catch against the Tennessee Titans.

Ayomanor 'mossed' Travis Hunter to take the ball into the end zone.

The CFB world was quick to react to the play and was heavily critical of Colorado. A fan thought this after seeing the play.

This fan is questioning what he was told about Travis Hunter:

This fan has a prediction for the rest of the Colorado season.

Another fan has this to say about Ayomanor's future.

This fan doesn't seem to like Hunter on the defensive side of the ball.

Another fan put forward their opinion.

Moss used to pull off one-handed catches over defenders for fun during his football career. So much so that the fans had a verb for the action: 'mossed.' Randy made his name doing it for all the teams he played for, winning multiple Super Bowls in the process.

Meanwhile, Hunter and the Colorado defense kept the Cardinal offense quiet in the first half. But the second half turned out to be a different story as the Buffaloes had no answer to Ayomanor and Co., and they paid the price for it.

Deion Sanders and Colorado stunned beyond measure

Deion Sanders and the Colorado Buffaloes came into week 7 as favorites against the Cardinal. Till the start of the second half, it looked like a walk in the park. However, the Cardinal, coming off of a four-game losing streak, had other ideas.

The Buffaloes rushed to a 29-0 lead going into halftime, but the game turned on its head after that. Ashton Daniels led the comeback with 396 passing yards and four touchdown passes. The Cardinal forced double OT before burying the game-winning field goal and won 46-43.

It marked Colorado's third loss of the season but probably the most heartbreaking one yet. Deion Sanders will have to pick up the pieces before the team takes the field against UCLA after a bye week. Will they be able to bounce back?
