"More than anything else, I'm proud of our guys," Sarkisian said. "It was, 'OK. Let's go. On to the next mission. Let's go win four more games.'"
Sarkisian reserved special acknowledgment for running back Jaydon Blue, whose 77-yard touchdown sealed the victory.
"I told him in the locker room. Yeah, I gave him a big hug and just tell him how proud I was of him, " Sarkisian said.
The coach emphasized the importance of persistence. With a dominant rushing performance of 256 yards from Blue and Quintrevion Wisner, Sarkisian’s game plan proved crucial in Texas’ playoff success.
