In a recent interview with former NFL star Robert Griffin III, Quinn Ewers talked about his religious journey dating back to his Ohio State days and how it got strengthened when he joined the Longhorns:

"The lessons that I've learned and that he's taught me from going to Ohio State. And just everything that happened to me up there you know, I kind of got away from my relationship from with God, when I was up there wasn't wasn't leaning on and as much as I should.
"And then me coming back down here and it's like, my faith kind of exploded and just it grew, it grew a whole bunch just like being closer to home.
"I got a bunch of friends that go here and kind of steered me in the right path, it's kind of experiencing life without like a good relationship with with Jesus and then just kind of show me how much that I really do need them." (34:00)
