Arkansas took an early lead, rebounded from a dire second quarter, and claimed a 39-26 win over Texas Tech in the Liberty Bowl. QB Taylen Green was outstanding, passing for 341 yards in the victory.

The Razorbacks took a 21-3 lead late in the first quarter on a 94-yard touchdown bomb from QB Taylen Green to freshman Dazmin James. Tech answered with a safety and a pair of touchdowns to keep the game competitive, pulling within 24-19 at halftime, before Arkansas pulled away after halftime.

The Arkansas Razorbacks (7-6) finished the 2024 season with a winning record. The Red Raiders (8-5) had ended the past three seasons with bowl game victories, including a 2021 win in the Liberty Bowl of SEC foe Mississippi State.

Arkansas was expected to finish near the bottom of the SEC off a 4-8 season, but rode an upset of Tennessee to bowl eligibility. The last Arkansas bowl appearance was also in the Liberty Bowl in a 2022 battle with Kansas that ended in a 55-53 victory.
