Texas vs Arkansas Football Injury Report: List of players injured

The No.3 ranked Texas Longhorns face the Arkansas Razorbacks in week 12 of the 2024 College Football season. The game will kick off at 12 pm. ET. Coming into the game, the Longhorns have an 8-1 record, while the Razorbacks are 5-4 this season.

Both teams have players who are injured, and their status for the game is in doubt.

Texas Longhorns Injury Report

There are six players on the Texas Longhorns' injury report for the game against Arkansas. One notable player likely to miss this game with Colton Vasek.

The defensive end played in all of Texas' games before the showdown against Florida last week, a game that he was ruled out of due to an injury. There was a probability that Vasek could have played against Arkansas, but on Friday, his status went from "doubtful" to "out."

Arkansas Razorbacks Injury Report

The Razorbacks have eight players on their Injury Report. The most notable of these is quarterback Taylen Green.

Green is the Razorbacks' starting quarterback and has thrown for 2,214 yards and 11 touchdowns this season.

He has has had the rest week to recover and Razorbacks coach Sam Pittman thinks that he will be able to play;

"I can tell you he (Taylen Green) hasn’t been full speed last week during our practices. He’s getting better every day. I love Taylen. Obviously, he gives us a chance to win each and every game. What a wonderful kid. I feel like he’ll be ready to go."

Arkansas also has their starting running back, Ja'Quinden Jackson, on the team's injury report.

However, Pittman has confirmed that the star player should be able to return to action this week, telling the media at his press conference:

"(Jackson's) healthy. He's ready to go. He's looked really good in practice and I expect him to go out there and play at full strength and full speed. It's good to have him back."

This will help Arkansas, who are facing a near full-strength Longhorns with their usual strong players on the field.
