Ahead of Saturday's game between Texas and Vanderbilt, the injury report looks like it is going to be a big factor. The No. 25 ranked Vanderbilt Commodores (5-2) will host the number five ranked Texas Longhorns on Saturday, October 26th, at 4:15 p.m. ET.
Vanderbilt is on an impressive string of wins that includes a 40-35 win over No. 15 ranked Alabama. Last Saturday, the Commodores defeated Ball State 24-14. Texas is looking to get back in the win column after losing its first game of the season 30-15 to No. 2 ranked Georgia.
Texas injury report week 9
Texas does not have a huge number of players on its injury report. Most notably, Isaiah Bond is injured after coming back from another medical setback last week.
#1 Isaiah Bond
Wide receiver Isaiah Bond has been downgraded to doubtful for this week's game against Vanderbilt on Wednesday's availability report.
Bond leads the Longhorns in receptions with 23 yards and receiving with 380 yards, despite already missing a game earlier in the year.
#2 Andrew Mukuba
Defensive back Andrew Mukuba is listed as doubtful on the injury report this week. He suffered an injury late in the Longhorns' loss to Georgia on Saturday.
Although his injury details have not been released, trainers were seen examining his knee on Saturday during the game.
#3 CJ Baxter
Running back CJ Baxter remains listed as out on the availability report. He suffered a knee injury in practice before the season and is out for the rest of the year.
Vanderbilt injury report week 9
Vanderbilt is also dealing with a number of injuries for this week's game. Several starters are listed as questionable for the matchup against Texas.

Linebacker Langston Patterson missed last week's game against Ball State but is listed as probable for this week's game against Texas. His injury has not been announced by the coaching staff.
#2 Miles Capers
Edge Miles Capers is also listed as probable on the injury report, and like Patterson, he did not play last week against Ball State.
#3 Kolbey Taylor
Cornerback Kolbey Taylor was a late addition to the availability report for Vanderbilt. He was not listed on reports earlier in the week but is now listed as questionable. He is reportedly dealing with a back injury.
