Alabama head coach Kalen DeBoer expressed his gratitude to former coach Nick Saban and his wife Terry for their philanthropic efforts in the community. Saban, alongside Crimson Tide players, was engaged in community service activities.

Mrs. Terry Saban has been actively involved in initiatives like Habitat for Humanity, funding the construction of homes for those in need, particularly after the devastating tornado in 2011.

DeBoer took to Twitter to thank Coach Saban and Miss Terry for their leadership and support, He tweeted,

“Great work gentlemen! Proud of you and your efforts to give back! Thank you Coach Saban and Miss Terry for your leadership and support of the LANK House and Habitat For Humanity through the Nick’s Kids Foundation! #RollTide”

The Sabans' dedication to community welfare with their foundation has funded the construction of 21 Habitat homes across Tuscaloosa.

The LANK House, where Mrs. Terry and other coaches' wives were working, symbolizes the spirit of resilience and determination embodied by Alabama's football team.

The nickname, derived from the team's motto "Let All Naysayers Know," reflects their triumph over adversity, much like the city's recovery from the 2011 tornado.

"I think that one thing I do have is I’ve had a chance to learn you know when take over a program whether it be Fresno State, Washington, Alabama. The timing is always different; there’s so many different variables that come into play."
