Even when Nick Saban announced his retirement, the women of the Saban clan Kristen, Miss Terry, and Samira didn't stop supporting the program. The Saban women marked their presence during the exciting Alabama-Auburn showdown this week as the Crimson Tide secured a 28-14 win over the Tigers.
While showcasing her gameday experience, Kristen shared a few snippets from Saturday, flaunting her cozy gray outfit paired with black boots, which she captioned, "Never fumbled a game day fit." She also shared heartwarming snaps with her mom, daughter-in-law and former Alabama star Terrion Arnold, who is now playing for the Detroit Lions in the NFL.
However, Kristen revealed that she received criticism from Alabama fans regarding her outfit and walking style following the game.
"It's really disappointing to see such hateful comments from a fan base I thought as friends/family for the last 17 years over an outfit and the way I walk (I have had an Achilles injury/abnormality since birth)," Kristen wrote.
"For my own sanity, I am stepping away from sharing anything football/family related. Thank god for retirement."
Saban announced his retirement in early January of this year and has been enjoying his new gig as an analyst on the ESPN College GameDay panel.
During his time as Alabama coach, Saban's whole family was as passionate about the team as he was, including his wife, Miss Terry, his daughter-in-law, Samira Saban, and his daughter, Kristen Saban.
Kristen has always been Alabama's number one fan, attending most games in stylish and chic outfits and making bold statements about rival teams like LSU.
Kristen Saban shares thoughts on dad Nick Saban's retirement
Nick Saban's retirement was a tough pill to swallow for the football world, including his daughter Kristen Saban, who reacted to the news while she was in an airplane and wrote a heartfelt letter on Instagram:
"I’ll say something eventually. So many emotions at the moment. Football is my life. Watching my dad accomplish so many things one after the other for so many years has been incredible and I am so thankful to witness the history I’ve seen him make.
"Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your messages, your Alabama football stories (please send more) and your love. Alabama forever. Roll Tide forever. I love you."
It's unfortunate to see Kristen announce that she won't be posting anything related to her family or football anymore, as many fans enjoyed seeing the snippets from Nick Saban's personal life.
