Arch Manning is the next to carry on the Manning family’s legacy in the NFL. The quarterback has shown glimpses of brilliance on the gridiron this season for Texas. While he has a couple of years left to play in college football, there is already talk about his future in the NFL.
A fan recently encountered Arch Manning’s grandfather and the patriarch of the Manning family, Archie, and asked him a few questions. He was asked where he would love to see the redshirt freshman play in the NFL after his time with the Longhorns.
“Well, I hope he’ll play three years in Texas,” Archie Manning said. “It’s funny, nobody has ever asked me that. Right off the bat, if somebody asked me, I’d say Cowboys.”

Archie Manning's response has led to many reactions among college football fans. The Dallas Cowboys currently have Dak Prescott as their starting quarterback, but they could be open to bringing Arch in a couple of years. Here's a look at some of the reactions online:
Here are other reactions to Archie Manning's comment:
"Arch Manning qb for the Dallas Cowboys? That just sounds and feels right," a fan wrote.
"Yes! Come in, sit behind D4K a couple yrs. D4K leaves in FA. Lil Arch takes off," another fan wrote.
"It’s happening. Then Peyton is gonna be part owner like Tom in Vegas," a fan commented.
"I would 100% take another year of misery if it meant landing this guy," another fan commented.
Georgia has made preparations for Arch Manning
Ahead of the SEC Championship game on Saturday, Kirby Smart said his team has prepared to stop Arch Manning. Georgia takes on Texas at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta for the conference crown, a spectacle college football fans are eager to witness.
"We've practiced knowing Arch can be in there,” Smart said. “Arch is not just a quarterback run guy. He's a really good athlete and can take off and run at any time, which is the toughest kind to defend."
“I'd rather have a guy that only runs instead of can do both. He certainly can do both. He opens up the playbook for them in terms of the plays he can do with his feet, but Quinn (Ewers) does a great job, too."
The Bulldogs were able to top Arch Manning and Quinn Ewers during their meeting with the Longhorns in the regular season. However, the upcoming matchup has higher stakes, and Steve Sarkisian is expected to tweak a few things in the offensive setup.
