Nick Saban's daughter can't wait for the 2024 college football season to start. However, it's not the same for Kristen Saban this year, as her dad won't be on the sidelines of the Alabama Crimson Tide at Bryant Denny Stadium in Tuscaloosa.

Nonetheless, Saban's daughter is excited for another reason. The former Alabama coach will make his first appearance on ESPN's College GameDay, on Saturday. Kristen posted a photo of her father along with the rest of the crew involved in the famous college football show. She captioned the post, which was in black-and-white, with these words:

What to expect from Nick Saban on ESPN College GameDay?

It will be a whole new experience for the college football community to see Nick Saban on television alongside other analysts trying to decode the game far away from the gridiron. For the past 50 years of his life, Saban has been coaching from the sidelines, calling out plays and sorting out other things.

That is about to change as his transition from legendary coach to ESPN analyst on College GameDay is as intriguing as it gets. The 72-year-old has never shied away from speaking his mind, and fans expect no less from Saban in his new role.

Saban now finds himself in the world of predictions and hypotheticals — a world he once loathed. During his appearance in Dublin in Week 0 of the 2024 season, Saban acknowledged this shift, saying:

“Now, I’m in this world. This is my gig, and it’s hard.”

However, everyone loved that Saban’s signature intensity hasn't worn off. He couldn’t resist hinting at how he would’ve handled speculations if he were still coaching.

“If you were in a press conference, you’d be getting ate out by me.”

Viewers can expect a unique blend of wisdom and candor from the former Alabama coach. His insights, rooted in years of top-tier coaching, will undoubtedly bring a fresh perspective to the ESPN set.
