Kristen Saban, daughter of former Alabama Crimson Tide coach Nick Saban, has given her praise to the law enforcement personnel in the state of Alabama.
She did this via Instagram, where she posted a video of current Alabama coach Kalen DeBoer talking with Alabama State Troopers. Accompanying the video was the caption, which read:
"The best troopers"
The Alabama State Troopers were a key part of Nick Saban and his family's time while he coached the Crimson Tide. Members of this force normally accompanied the team before coming out at Bryant Denny Stadium.
They were around Saban and his family during gamedays, so this is a force that Kristen is more than familiar with.
Her post on Instagram could be seen as her way of saying "thank you" for what they did when her father was coach, and what they continue to do every day.
Nick Saban talks about Colorado's turnaround
While Kristen Saban has been praising the Alabama State Troopers, her father Nick has been praising the Colorado Buffaloes and their coach Deion Sanders.
The Buffaloes have seen a massive improvement in the second year of Sanders' spell with Colorado.
On this week's edition of College GameDay, Nick Saban explained why, according to him, the Buffaloes have rapidly improved.
"One of the things that Deion told me this summer was that he finally had two coordinators, offensive and defensive coordinators, Pat Shurmur and Robert Livingston, that believed like he believed. And they were going to go do the things that he wanted to do on both offensive and defensive."
During the offseason, Deion Sanders made some massive changes to the Buffaloes roster after a poor first season with the team.
He also brought in a new offensive and defensive coordinator, two people who Nick Saban thinks are the difference between the Buffaloes' performances last year and this season.
Both Pat Shurmur and Robert Livingston have experience in the NFL. Livingston worked with the Cincinnati Bengals, while Shurmur was the former head coach of the New York Giants.
After their victory over the Cincinnati Bearcats, the Colorado Buffaloes are now bowl-eligible for the first time since the 2016 season.
They currently have six wins, but could easily gain more in the remaining games left, and potentially claim a spot in the Big 12 championship game.
