The GOAT Tom Brady is in Ann Arbor hyping up the Michigan Wolverines vs Texas Longhorns game in Week 2 of the 2024 college football season. The NFL legend and former Michigan Wolverines quarterback spent four seasons in Ann Arbor, starting in 1995.

Brady couldn’t hide his excitement for the matchup, posting a video on Instagram with the caption:

The 47-year-old retired from the field in 2023 for good, having earlier announced his retirement in 2022 after a knee injury had plagued his 2021 season with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Nonetheless, his weekends are still packed, especially as he debuts as a Fox Sports NFL color commentator.

Brady, who is worth $300 million, per Celebrity Net Worth, will be calling his first NFL game on Sunday when the Dallas Cowboys face the Cleveland Browns, but before that, he’s making a special trip to his old stomping ground.

The Longhorns vs. Wolverines game has attracted tremendous celebrity support, including appearances from stars like Matthew McConaughey, Michael Phelps and former Yankee Derek Jeter.

Tom Brady hypes Michigan with scenic video

Sherrone Moore has arguably the best football player in history backing his team. The former Wolverines QB and new FOX Sports broadcaster narrated a video ahead of the huge Texas vs. Michigan showdown.

In the video, Brady spoke about the pride that fills Ann Arbor, from the University's iconic maize and blue to the team's storied history in college football.

"Pride for the national championship newly earned. Pride for the most wins in college football history. Three Heismans and 107,000 that grace the big house every Saturday."
"But today our pride is tested by a burnt orange delegation [Texas Longhorns] from the south with just as much on the line and an equally renowned reputation."

Brady also pointed out that these two football powerhouses have only met once in the unforgettable 2005 Rose Bowl. Vince Young and the Longhorns defeated Chad Henne's Wolverines 38-37.

The stakes for this game are high, as there’s no doubt that both teams are serious contenders for a spot in the College Football Playoff.
