College football insider Colin Cowherd didn't have any easy on the Colorado Buffaloes ahead of their Week 3 matchup against the Colorado State Rams. Colorado will be on the road to play Colorado State on Saturday at 7:30 p.m. ET.

The Buffaloes are coming off a blowout loss to Nebraska on the road in Week 2. Entering Week 3, Colorado is a seven-point favorite to beat Colorado State. However, ahead of the matchup, Cowherd thrashed Deion Sanders' program.

"It’s time for a new fake ID of college football. You know, somebody that’s new on campus, talking a big game, little thirsty and not of legal age. Kind of a poser. And I think it’s Colorado," Cowherd said.
"Deion Sanders is the new fake ID of college football. I’m sorry. Lot of talk... These guys are vomiting on themselves after a margarita. It's bad, they've lost seven straight games to FBS teams, worst run offense in America, can’t defend the run, can’t play defense (and) tackle poorly," Cowherd added.

Colin Cowherd believes the Buffaloes are not a good college football team, despite all the hype and talk from the team. As he pointed out, Colorado has lost seven straight games to FBS teams dating back to last season.

Deion Sanders says Colorado has to get up for the Colorado State game

Although the Colorado Buffaloes are a touchdown favorite to defeat Colorado State on Saturday, Deion Sanders says that doesn't matter.

Instead, he knows a road rivalry game is tough, and he has told his team they need to get up for the matchup.

"The benefit is you have to get up," Sanders said, via Yahoo. "Prayerfully, you learn your lesson from a week ago and you have to get up. You have to come out ready to play. From the first snap on, you have to be ready to play at all positions in all phases, coaches included."

If Colorado can beat Colorado State, the Buffaloes would improve to 2-1 on the season. The Buffaloes will then host Baylor in Week 4. As the head coach of Colorado, Deion Sanders is 5-9 after going 4-8 in 2023.
