Arch Manning gave his two cents about the Texas Longhorns and Austin in general during an interview at the Manning Passing Academy on Friday. When asked about his experience in Austin, Manning expressed his fondness for the city, the school and the coaching staff.

Manning, who is committed to Texas for the long haul, is eager to make a lasting impact and stressed his dedication and long-term vision for his college career.

A particularly heartwarming part of Manning's interview was his mention of family traditions. The Manning Passing Academy has been a summertime fixture in Louisiana since the 1990s, before he was born.

"It's kind of just a family reunion; we all get together and kind of come back every year to Louisiana," Manning said.

One of the highlights of his offseason was a golf trip with his uncles, Peyton and Eli Manning.

"We went on a golf trip earlier in May," Manning said (Timestamp: 2:50). "It was me and Eli versus my brother and Peyton. They beat up on us, but it was fun."

Peyton Manning trains with nephew Arch Manning

Arch Manning is unfazed about the pecking order of quarterbacks in Texas coach Steve Sarkisian’s roster. Set to be a backup quarterback for the Texas Longhorns in the 2024 season, Manning is doing his best to stay in peak condition, attending workouts at his uncle's Manning Passing Academy.

A video uploaded by Texas insider CJ Vogel features the 19-year-old executing drills under Peyton’s watchful eye.

The Hall of Famer’s involvement is more than just training; it’s about family pride and passing down the rich football heritage.

“I’m well-documented on how proud we are of Arch,” Peyton Manning said, per OnTexasFootball. “I try to be a resource to him. He and I worked out several weeks ago together.”

The Manning legacy is legendary. Peyton and Eli, Arch’s uncles, have won the Super Bowl, with Peyton being an All-Pro, and MVP. Grandfather Archie Manning was a legend at Ole Miss and the New Orleans Saints.

Arch Manning’s dedication and elite training could soon see him stepping into a starting role, making the Manning name proud once again.
