The Colorado Buffaloes, under coach Deion Sanders, surpassed their win total from the 2023 season with a dominant 34-7 victory over the Arizona Wildcats in Week 8 of college football action.
The Buffs are now 5-2 with a chance to become bowl-eligible for the first time in eight years, as Coach Prime promised Colorado fans at the start of the campaign.
Away from the gridiron, Coach Prime has been doing succession planning to lure recruits to Boulder for the post-Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter era in 2025.

Colorado coach Deion Sanders is not only spending time on the transfer portal but also putting in the recruitment work to lure the next generation of talents.
Top of the list is Julian Lewis, who is a four-star prospect and the No. 7 ranked quarterback in the class of 2025 according to 247Sports and who has committed to the USC Trojans.
He has visited the Colorado campus in Boulder three times with speculation that he is being heavily courted by Coach Prime to succeed his son, Shedeur Sanders.
ESPN reported that Lewis would be in attendance during the Buffs' game against the Cincinnati Bearcats in Week 9 of college football action.
"It was a cool weekend," Lewis told Colorado on SI after his most recent visit to Boulder in June. "I met a lot of good people while I was in Boulder and definitely noticed the things they did around town."
Three-star defensive lineman Christian Hudson, who is the No. 47 DL in the class of 2025 announced on Friday that he had flipped his commitment from the UCF Knights to the Colorado Buffaloes.
According to 247Sports, meeting Deion Sanders in Boulder during an official visit changed Hudson's mind.
Alongside Julian Lewis, the Buffs will also host four-star prospects Adrian Wilson and Carde Smith during a huge recruiting weekend on October 26.
