"This is horrible": Lane Kiffin's son Knox shows displeasure at College Football 25 for missing out Ole Miss in top 10 rankings

This week, EA Sports College Football 25 showcased their power rankings on the hardest places to play, top offenses, top defenses and the top-rated teams in their highly anticipated game. However, Ole Miss Rebels head coach Lane Kiffin's son Knox was not too impressed with the rankings.

In a recent Instagram story, Lane Kiffin's son posted a screenshot of the top 10 team power rankings in College Football 25. And to his surprise, the Ole Miss Rebels were left out of the top 10. Knox let his opinion known on the same, expressing his displeasure with the rankings that EA Sports provided.

"This is horrible", Knox Kiffin wrote in the story.

The Rebels were ranked No. 15 in team power rankings with an 88 overall ranking in the game by the publishers. They were ranked No.v13 in terms of offense and were left out of the top 25 in the defense power rankings.

Another surprising inclusion in the Top 25 team power rankings right after Lane Kiffin's team is the Colorado Buffaloes. Under head coach Deion Sanders last season, they finished with a 4-8 overall campaign and went 1-8 in the Pac-12 conference. Like Knox, many college football fans were left disappointed with these rankings, as they took to social media to let their feelings known on the same.

When is EA Sports College Football 25 releasing?

After a hiatus of over 10 years, the beloved college football franchise is reviving itself with its latest installment. CFB 25 is set to be released on July 19 as fans gear up to get back to playing one of the most anticipated releases in the sports genre.

Initially, EA Sports College Football 25 is set to be released on the latest gen consoles, which include the PlayStation 5 and the Xbox Series X/S. PC gamers will have to wait for the game to be available on their platform as there is currently no information about a PC release date. However, similar to Madden, EA Sports might work on a PC port soon after the release of the game.

The game will be available in 3 versions, a standard version, a deluxe version and the MVP bundle, which also includes the deluxe version of Madden 25.
