Deion Sanders has a lucrative contract with the Colorado Buffaloes. However, Coach Prime has refuted some of the reports about his bonuses.

On Wednesday, Sanders' eldest son Deion Sanders Jr. took over Coach Prime's Instagram account and reposted his tweet about Sanders' reported $600,000 in bonuses this season. He also tagged his siblings in the post.

However, the original Sanders later set the record straight and responded to the report.

"This is INCORRECT. I don't know what y'all talking about. My Old money has @blenders on by the way," Sanders commented on his own IG post.

Deion Jr. hilariously acknowledged that he pulled off the heist on the IG post, which also showed his tweet. In the caption, Deion Jr. said that he spoke to Colorado athletic director Rick George to verify Sanders' contract bonuses.

"I asked Mr Rick and he said they ain’t lying….. we need some of that @shilosanders @shedeursanders @shelomisanders @deiondrasanders (posted by @deionsandersjr)" the IG caption read.

In the tweet and in the IG caption, Deion Jr. appeared to urge Sanders to share some of his incentives with his kids.

As per reports, Deion Sanders signed a five-year, $29.5 million contract when he was hired as Colorado's coach in December 2022. That figure reportedly excludes bonuses.

However, the reports of Sanders' compensations have not been verified. The Buffs coach has denied some of the reported bonuses that have been reported by journalists.

The reason behind Sanders' denials is unclear. As an employee of a public university, his contract is a matter of public record. Sanders has not clarified what he believes is incorrect in the reporting.

Nonetheless, Sanders has worked his magic at Colorado this year. The Buffs have been one of the country's most improved teams following their disappointing 4-8 record last season.

This season, Colorado finished the regular season with a 9-3 record (7-2 Big 12). The Buffs have also had two potential candidates to win the Heisman Trophy in quarterback Shedeur Sanders and two-way star Travis Hunter.

Coach Prime's Colorado will play its bowl game later in December.
