Coach Prime's sons, Shilo Sanders and Shedeur Sanders, took to the field one last time for Colorado during the Alamo Bowl showdown against the BYU Cougars.

This season has been a roller-coaster ride for Shilo. Battling through injuries and inconsistency, he was looking to give his all during the Valero Alamo Bowl. However, the Buffs had a tough start to the game as the Cougars took an early lead.

While Colorado was down by 17 points, Shilo Sanders made a tackle on a BYU wide receiver and started celebrating prematurely. Unfortunately, he was penalized for pass interference, which left fans frustrated and angry.

One fan called Shilo an "embarrassment."

"Get Shilo Sanders dumba** off my f**king football team man. This kid an EMBARRASSMENT."

Another fan felt that Shilo's actions depicted how hungry Coach Prime’s team was for the victory.

"LMFAO. Shilo Sanders just held the hell out of WR, then started doing a break dance before realizing he was penalized. Then on the next play ducked out of the way and didn't even try to tackle BYU's TE in the flat. This Colorado team is not a serious football program."

Another fan called Shilo a "clown."

"I say again, Shilo Sanders is a clown."

Here are other fan reactions:

"He and Shedeur are talented, but you are getting a massive ego and a headache if you draft either," a fan said.
"Shilo is a Sanders in name, not game," another said.
Asshole…dancing down big late…buh bye," another added.

Coach Prime gets emotional after walking out Shilo Sanders and Shedeur Sanders for one final time

The Alamo Bowl showdown against BYU was an emotional experience for Coach Prime as it was the last collegiate game for his sons. He walked both Shilo and Shedeur out onto the field for one last time.

Before the start of the game, Deion Sanders spoke with ESPN and talked about the journey he had with his sons.

"The journey," Coach Prime said. "The journey, it's been a tremendous, tumultuous journey. I'm sorry. This is tough."
"This is tough....You know, when they first started, when I first started coaching them, the good the bad the ups the downs, it's just a journey.... And I'm thankful and I'm appreciative."

Unfortunately, Coach Prime could not give a successful farewell to his sons Shilo and Shedeur. The BYU Cougars dominated the game and emerged victorious in the Alamo Bowl with a 36-17 final score. Now, Coach Prime’s sons will have to shift their focus to preparing for the NFL draft next year.
