Travis Hunter has been able to establish himself as a reliable target for his Colorado teammate Shedeur Sanders. But, the Heisman Trophy winner is not the only member of his family who has been running routes as of late.
Travis' younger brother, Trayvis Hunter, is currently in high school and is years away from potentially starting in college football. But, in a recent video posted on social media by Rivals, Trayvis is shown playing as a receiver and running routes.
Here is how college football fans reacted to this video. These fans have brought up his height (or lack of it).
"too bad he 5’7." This fan said
"5'7 is going to be hard to overcome." Another fan said.
"Hahahaha, what is he 5'3🤣" A third fan said.
"Buddy seems small. What’s his height 5’7?" This fan said.
These fans have made a prediction about which college Trayvis may go to:
"@CUBuffsFootball bound?!" This fan said.
"Future Buff." Another fan said.
"He’s going to Colorado." A third fan said.
Finally, these fans can not get over the name of Travis' younger brother.
"no way that’s his real name." This fan said.
"Trayvis? Seriously?" Another fan said.
"Obviously the parents are creative with naming. Lol." A third fan said.
Travis Hunter's busy week amid his Alamo Bowl preparation
Focusing on Trayvis' older brother, Travis has had a tough week. His relationship with his fiancé Leanna Lenee has taken center stage this week.
The attention and subsequent fan reaction to a video, allegedly of Lenee dancing with another man, possibly led Hunter to delete his Instagram account.
Despite having to deal with the drama surrounding his relationship, Hunter has been focusing on his performance for the Colorado Buffaloes' upcoming bowl game with the BYU Cougars. This is the first Bowl game that the Buffaloes have played since 2016.
Contrary to many players who are entering the upcoming NFL draft, Hunter (and Shedeur Sanders) are going to play in this game.
This is a somewhat risky move, as an injury caused during what is essentially a meaningless game could have a massive impact on the potential draft stock of Hunter.
He comes into the game as a potential No. 1 pick, and a strong showing from the Heisman Trophy winner could solidify his status as the best player available for NFL teams in April.
