Jamie Foxx can’t remember 20 days

Jamie Foxx was unconscious for a couple of weeks following his stroke attack and hospitalization. Speaking on his Netflix special, the popular actor narrated all that he could remember before his health condition quickly deteriorated, disclosing he couldn't remember 20 days.

“It is a mystery,” Foxx said. “We still don’t know exactly what happened to me. April 11, I was having a bad headache and I asked my boy for an aspirin.
“And I realized quickly that when you’re in a medical emergency, your boys don’t know what the f**k to do. Before I could get the aspirin I went out,” he said. “I don’t remember 20 days.”

Foxx went on to disclose why much of his health condition hasn't been made public since his reported hospitalization in April 2023. The Netflix special marked a return to the spotlight for the famous comedian, bringing a whole lot of relief to his fans worldwide.

“I know a lot of people were waiting or wanting to hear updates but to be honest with you, I just didn’t want you to see me like that, man,” Foxx said on the show.
“I want you to see me laughing, having a good time, partying, cracking a joke, doing a movie or television show. I didn’t want you to see me with tubes running out of me and trying to figure out if I was gonna make it through.”

After a life-threatening health challenge, Jamie Foxx is now back to continue what he loves doing., His highly anticipated action movie Back in Action, is set to hit theaters on Jan. 17. Production on the film was temporarily delayed following Foxx’s hospitalization in April 2023.
