EA Sports College Football 25 was released on Friday, and fans are finally able to play the game. They will be able to play with some of the best wide receivers in college football.
But who are the top 10 ranked wide receivers in EA Sports College Football 25?
Best Wide Receivers in College Football 25
Travis Hunter (Colorado Buffaloes)
The highest-ranked player in College Football 25 is Travis Hunter, who is rated 95. The Buffaloes star is one, if not the most skilled player in Deion Sanders' team and is worth the hype.
Hunter is also one of the cover stars, which may have played a role in his rating being this high.
Luther Burden III (Missouri Tigers)
The Tigers' main wide receiver and favorite target of quarterback Brady Cook is the second-highest WR in the game, with a rating of 94. Burden III played a key part in helping the Tigers to an 11-win season last year and should be able to help Cook and his teammates in 2024 as well.
Tetairoa McMillan (Arizona Wildcats)
McMillan is set to have an incredible 2024 season and should build on what was an impressive 2023, scoring 10 touchdowns and over 1,400 yards in the process. McMillan, who was recently compared to NBA star Steph Curry by his coach, has a rating of 94 in the game.
Emeka Egbuka (Ohio State Buckeyes)
For the last few seasons, Emeka Egbuka has been in the shadows of fellow WR Marvin Harrison Jr. This does not mean he is not talented, scoring four touchdowns last season. Now, the Buckeyes' main WR, Egbuka, should have a strong season and is ranked 93 in College Football 25.
Colston Loveland (Michigan)
Loveland plays mostly as a tight end but has also shown himself as a talented wide receiver. Loveland has a rating of 92 and should be able to make a difference in what is a significantly weaker Michigan Wolverines team from last season.
Troy Horton (Colorado State)
Horton has a rating of 91 and is the best player on a Colorado State team that struggled last year. Recording over 1,000 yards last season, Horton has made the most of a bad situation and will hope to improve on these numbers this year.
Tez Johnson (Oregon Ducks)
In sixth place is Tez Johnson. The Ducks WR has a rating of 91 in College Football 25. He is one of the best receivers in the country, and his rating may not reflect how good he is. In 2023, Johnson recorded 1,182 yards with 10 touchdowns and will hope to improve on these numbers with new quarterback Dillon Gabriel.
Tre Harris (Ole Miss)
The Ole Miss WR has been a consistently good part of a team that has recently been consistently good. Harris was a key target for quarterback Jaxson Dart, and this pairing allowed Dart and the 90-rated WR to lead the Rebels to an 11-win season last year.
Evan Stewart (Oregon Ducks)
The Oregon Ducks have two of the 10 best WRs in their roster. Alongside Tez Johnson, the Ducks also have Evan Stewart, who has a rating of 90. Stewart spent the last two seasons with the Texas A&M Aggies, but his transfer to Oregon will allow him to thrive in his current form.
Xavier Restrepo (Miami Hurricanes)
Restrepo has a rating of 90 and was a strong part of a generally average Hurricanes team. In 2023, he recorded 1,092 yards and scored six touchdowns in his breakout season.
