In the post-game press conference, the quarterback took responsibility for his mistake. He stated that he made a bad call and failed to execute the play that led to the Nittany Lions being eliminated from the natty championship race this season.

"I was going through my progression," Allar told reporters. "Just trying to (throw) it at his feet. Should have thrown it away. Didn't execute what I was trying to do.... I'll do everything in my power to grow from it."

Drew Allar can declare for the 2025 NFL Draft despite having one more year of eligibility left. It will be interesting to see if he decides to return for another season and redeem himself or move on and focus on his professional career in the NFL.
