Georgia QB Carson Beck put up an underwhelming performance in week 5 against the Alabama Crimson Tide. He gave up two interceptions in the first half itself which was a blow to the morale of the Bulldogs' offense. Beck finished the night with a total of 439 passing yards and three TD passes with three interceptions to his name.
In the fourth quarter, Carson Beck threw a 67-yard TD pass to Dillon Bell, which put Kirby Smart's team in the lead by one point. But Jalen Milroe quickly responded with an incredible 75-yard TD pass of his own to Ryan Williams. This proved to be the finishing touches to the Crimson Tide's victory against their SEC rival.
Jalen Milroe finished the game with 374 passing yards and two touchdowns with one interception. He also rushed for 117 yards and two touchdowns, showcasing his dual-threat abilities and his potential as a Heisman contender.
