The No. 14 Tennessee Volunteers and No. 24 NC State Wolfpack were both able to win an easy Week 1 tune-up against an FCS opponent. The two teams are set to face one another this weekend in a much tougher matchup for both programs.

Kevin Concepcion joined the NC State Wolfpack as a three-star prospect in the 2023 recruiting class. After having a huge freshman season in which he was named ACC Rookie of the Year, he picked up where he left off in the 38-21 Week 1 victory over the Western Carolina Catamounts. The wide receiver recorded nine receptions for 121 yards and three touchdowns. Concepcion is also an 89 overall in EA Sports College Football 25.

Aydan White joined the NC State Wolfpack as a three-star prospect in the 2020 recruiting class. After earning All-ACC honors in each of the past two seasons, he recorded seven tackles, six of which were solo tackles, and two passes defended in the season opener. The cornerback is rated an 88 overall in EA Sports College Football 25.

Grayson McCall initially joined the Coastal Carolina Chanticleers as a two-star prospect in the 2019 recruiting class. He joined the NC State Wolfpack via the transfer portal this offseason. In his first game with the program, the quarterback completed 26 of 40 pass attempts, throwing for 318 yards, three touchdowns and one interception. He is rated an 88 overall in EA Sports College Football 25.
