Travis Hunter blasts comedian for his scathing remarks on relationship with Leanna Lenee: "You old ash move on"

Colorado two-way star Travis Hunter jumped to the defense of his fiancee, Leanna Lenee, after she was targeted by comedian Godfrey.

Lenee was criticized after saying she initially did not want to be in a relationship because she thought Hunter "wasn't her type." Her comment prompted Godfrey to share some harsh words.

"This message goes out to Travis Hunter," Godfrey said. "Listen, Travis, I just want you to be careful, man. Yeah, I said it, be careful. Congratulations on your engagement, but, man, you might have to disengage. Because something about this woman, man. The way she was talking to, and the way she was talking like she was really that, 'that' chick.

"Listen, you love who you love. Facts, got that. That's all logical. But something ain't right. I just watched that dumb video of you guys in those matching pajamas that bugged me, and she was like dogging you, going, 'Yeah, he wasn't my type.' I don't f***ing know what she is.

"But one thing I do know, you need to watch your a**, bro. I'm so serious, man...something ain't right."

Hunter hit back at Godfrey, saying he didn't know anything about their relationship, so he should not be commenting on it.

"You know her? No, so don't speak on my relationship you old ash move on with yo life," Hunter wrote.

During Colorado's victory against Oklahoma State, a clip of Travis Hunter and Leanna Lenee went viral, which led to rumors of a rift between the two. Hunter quickly shut down these rumors by dedicating a heartwarming post to his fiancée. Lenee also commented on the post.

"These pics were taken 30 seconds after that clip by the way," she wrote. "Pls remember that social media is not real, and 5 seconds is not enough to understand a situation. You also never know what a person can handle mentally. Thank you baby for always trying to cheer me up. You truly are the greatest partner a girl could ever ask for."

Travis Hunter reveals one special rule he follows in his romantic relationship with Leanna Lenee

The Colorado two-way star made an appearance on "The Pivot" podcast this month and talked about his relationship with Lenee.

When questioned about how he handles the attention of women as a college football star, Hunter brought up a special rule he follows to protect his relationship.

"Everybody knows the way I love my girl, they aren't going to worry about that," Hunter said. "I have nothing to worry about. I love my woman.

"When I take a picture with a girl, I make sure my hands are in the front, you can see both of my hands and I'm not that close to you. It's a routine. I make sure I only take pictures with a female when she (Leanna) is around."

Travis Hunter and Leanna Lenee are planning to get married next year. The two-way star is excited to begin a new journey with his fiancée while also making his professional debut in the NFL.
