Colorado Buffaloes two-way star Travis Hunter had a hilarious reaction to Deion Sanders Jr. trolling his brother Shedeur Sanders’ touchdown celebration against the Texas Tech Red Raiders last weekend. On the Instagram account for his jewelry brand, Well Off Forever, Deion posted a funny voiceover as Shedeur pumped his fist after scoring.
As fans laughed at how Deion exaggerated Shedeur’s celebration, Hunter joined in the fun:
"Lmao bro 😂."
Spirits are high in the Buffaloes' camp, Hunter was joined by Shedeur during the Buffs' open week, as they stole coach Deion Sanders’ car and trolled Coach Prime for his “old school” style. The two traded banter on Shedeur’s “2Legendary” YouTube channel.
Critics have praised the dynamic duo for being integral to Colorado’s success this season, which earned them their first bowl game since 2020. Top 2025 NFL draft prospect Shedeur Sanders led the offense against Texas Tech, throwing for 291 yards and three touchdowns. Two-way sensation and Heisman Trophy favorite Travis Hunter added 99 yards and scored a touchdown on nine receptions.
Coach Prime NFL draft's approach for Travis Hunter and son Shedeur
The Buffs' head coach, Deion Sanders, has talked about teams that are planning to draft Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders and two-way star Travis Hunter. Coach Prime is not shy about maybe pulling some strings to guarantee that his son and Hunter end up on the right team on NFL draft night.
Hunter has elevated the level of the No. 18 Buffaloes (7-2, 5-1 Big 12, No. 17 CFP) this season. Before entering the Nov. 16 matchup against Utah, Hunter has prospered on both sides of the ball, reeling in 69 catches for 856 yards and nine touchdowns. He also recorded seven pass deflections, two interceptions and a forced fumble as a cornerback.
On his side, QB Shedeur Sanders has been stellar. He's completed 250 of his 343 passes to record 2,882 yards and 24 touchdowns with six interceptions. On the ground, Sanders rushed for four touchdowns.
Thus, pundits expect both Shedeur and Hunter to be selected in the first round of the 2025 draft. While appearing on Fox Sports 1’s "Speak" show, Coach Prime said:
“I’m gonna be Dad until the cows come home, and with Travis as well.”
Although Sanders stopped short of naming the teams where he would not like his son or Hunter to be drafted, he described in detail what he’s looking for in a potential suitor:
“Somebody that can handle the quarterback he is and somebody that can handle, understanding what he’s capable of.”
