Travis Hunter returned to Instagram on Monday, a week after he opted to deactivate it. The Colorado superstar had briefly deactivated his IG account following backlash around his fiancée Leanna Lenee, but he now appears to have made a comeback for a special reason.
Hunter uploaded a teaser video for the third season of "Coach Prime," an Amazon Prime Video show on Deion Sanders. The video featured a lot of footage from Colorado's 2024 season.
"COACH PRIME SEASON 3 PREMIERES TOMORROW ON PRIME VIDEO 🔥" Hunter wrote in the caption of the IG post.
The trailer also showed how some analysts anticipated Hunter's quest for the Heisman Trophy. The Colorado two-way star eventually beat Boise State running back Ashton Jeanty to the coveted college football honor.
The teaser also highlighted the emotion behind Sanders coaching his children, Shilo and Shedeur, for the final season in Boulder.
Coach Prime's Buffs showed incredible improvement in the 2024 season and were close to getting a spot in the College Football Playoff. They eventually finished the regular season with a 9-3 record (7-3 Big 12) and lost the Alamo Bowl 14-36 to BYU.
Season 3 of "Coach Prime" will be released on Amazon Prime Video on Tuesday.
Travis Hunter plans to marry fiancée Leanna Lenee in May this year
During an appearance on his CU teammate Shedeur Sanders' "2Legendary" podcast in November, Travis Hunter announced plans to marry Leanna Lenee in May 2025, around the NFL rookie minicamp. The Colorado superstar also said that his wedding will take place in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
Hunter and Lenee have reportedly been dating for five years. They got engaged in February 2024.
However, their relationship has been in the spotlight for the past few weeks. Lenee faced severe backlash from fans after a few video clips showed her arguing with Hunter after his stellar game against Oklahoma State in CU's regular-season finale. Some even slammed her for not supporting Hunter during his Heisman acceptance ceremony.
More recently, an old resurfaced video showed Lenee dancing with a man in a rap music video. Following the online criticism, she deleted her social media accounts, and Hunter followed suit.
While Travis Hunter now appears to have re-activated his Instagram account, Lenee has not yet returned to social media.
