Sports podcaster Jason Whitlock has claimed that the Colorado Buffaloes rented out a Texas strip club on Christmas and Dec. 26 ahead of their clash with BYU in the Alamo Bowl. However, according to Whitlock, two-way star Travis Hunter was absent from the club.

The 2024 Heisman winner is not a fan of drinking or partying, as per his fiancee.

Whitlock made the claim on Tuesday's episode of his show, saying [06:20]:

“Colorado had the wrong attitude. My source described to me that the Buffaloes spent two nights in a strip club that they basically rented out two nights in a row - Christmas and the day after Christmas.
“This was primarily offensive players. I was told it did not involve Travis Hunter because he does not go to clubs as we've heard from Travis Hunter's girlfriend ...”

He pointed to players' alleged financial dissatisfaction contributing to their lack of focus.

2025 NFL Draft ft. Travis Hunter

The 21-year-old is the talk of the 2025 NFL draft, and for good reason. At 6-foot-1 and 185 pounds, Colorado’s two-way athlete has proven himself as one of the most versatile talents in the 2024 college football season. He’s projected as a top-10 pick in the 2025 NFL draft.

Hunter has set the stage for what promises to be a stellar NFL career with a Heisman Trophy, a Walter Camp Award and unanimous All-American honors under his belt. His athleticism and high football IQ on both sides of the ball will tempt several NFL franchises.

In 2024, he racked up 53 tackles, six interceptions and 19 pass breakups in just 10 games. Hunter excelled in coverage under Coach Prime’s tutelage and used body control and twitchy acceleration to stay stride-for-stride with receivers.

However, analysts believe Hunter is still refining his technique as a cornerback and relies heavily on raw talent in that role. His ability to play at a high level on both offense and defense will be tested to the extreme in the NFL.
