Colorado Buffaloes' two-way star Travis Hunter continued his stellar form during the Buffs' 41-27 win over the Texas Tech Red Raiders in Week 11 of college football action. After going behind 13-0 in the first quarter of the game, the Buffs steadily chipped away at the Red Raiders' lead with Hunter scoring the go-ahead touchdown.
Hunter tallied 99 yards on nine catches resulting in one touchdown, strengthening his case for the Heisman Trophy. Off the gridiron, ahead of Colorado's Week 12 clash against the Utah Utes, Hunter posted a picture of himself on Instagram.
He captioned it:
"They Wanna See Me Pick Back Up, But Where’d I Leave It At?" Travis Hunter wrote.
Hunter's fiancee Leanna Lenee posted a cheeky comment underneath his Instagram post:
"I'd agree with that," Lenee wrote.
Travis Hunter and Leanna Lenee have dated since high school
Travis Hunter and Leanna Lenee began dating when the Colorado star was a student at Collins High School. They continued their relationship when he de-committed from the Florida State Seminoles to join charismatic coach Deion Sander's Jackson State Tigers in 2021.
On her YouTube channel, Lenee admitted that at first, she did not notice Hunter when he tried communicating with her.
"He was a friend. I didn't respond to him because he wasn't my type," Lenee said on their YouTube channel. "I left him in my DMs for like two months and then finally I answered him, but I didn't want to be nothing."
Lenee also highlighted the depth of their bond on an Instagram post during their anniversary in February, revealing that she had followed Hunter to Boulder for their third state together.
"You came into my life at the most unexpected time. I would constantly pray that God would give me a reason to keep moving forward so I can fulfill his plan for me," Lenee wrote.
"You are the most patient and passionate man I have ever met. No relationship is perfect, but we perfected the art of trying. We are living in our 3rd state together now, and this is a life I wouldn’t want to share with anyone else. You are the greatest friend and partner I have ever had. I love you, sincerely and without limit," Lenee wrote.
Hunter proposed to Lenee in February and the couple recently announced that they would get married on May 24, 2025.
Leanna Lenee attends all of Travis Hunter's football games and the pair usually post a weekly episode on their shared YouTube channel, giving fans a peek into their personal lives.
