Travis Hunter has been in the media spotlight lately, first because of his 2024 Heisman Trophy win and then because of the online trial of his relationship with fiancee Leanna Lenee.

Amidst all this, Coach Prime gave life advice on X on Friday. The Colorado coach tweeted:

"Stop forcing right on wrong. It ain't no right way to do wrong. We're on the 3rd day of this new year and we're talking about wrong. We're so much better than what we're doing & if we just constantly choose right the wrong in us will suffocate. #CoachPrime"

The 57-year-old NFL legend then posted the same on Instagram with the caption:

"Ain’t No right way to do wrong. Never forget that please. #CoachPrime"

Hunter's mother, Ferrante Edmonds, reacted to Sanders' post with a four-word comment, saying:

"Amen to that Coach"

Sanders has always portrayed himself as a guardian for his players in Colorado and in general. Hunter's mother's comment on his post comes amidst the whirlwind of off-field drama her son has been facing lately.

Travis Hunter - Leanna Lenee controversy is not cooling down

Travis Hunter’s off-field drama is now overshadowing his on-field heroics. The 2024 Heisman Trophy winner is facing online scrutiny over his relationship with fiancée Leanna Lenee, with some fans even urging Hunter to end their engagement.

The controversy began after a viral clip showed Colorado coach Deion Sanders asking Lenee to stand up and clap for Hunter when he was declared the Heisman winner. Things escalated when another video surfaced, alleging infidelity on Lenee’s part.

One more video that’s circulating online captures the couple in a heated exchange after a Colorado game. Although the audio is unclear, it seems there was tension brewing between the pair.

Both Hunter and Lenee deactivated their Instagram accounts last week, but the controversy persists. Hunter, who played his last game in a Colorado jersey against the BYU Cougars in the Alamo Bowl on Dec. 28, will now shift his focus to the 2025 NFL Draft.
