Colorado Buffaloes two-way star Travis Hunter has had a stellar season, easing himself into the Heisman Trophy conversation with his performances on both sides of the ball. He has also unexpectedly dragged the Buffs (6-2) into contention for the Big 12 championship game while leading the team to bowl-eligibility for the first time in eight years.

Ahead of the No. 21-ranked Buffs' crucial Week 11 clash against the Texas Tech Red Raiders (6-3), Hunter took advantage of his team's open week to go fishing with coach Deion Sanders in Texas and spend time on his vibrant YouTube channel.

During a recent YouTube livestream, Travis Hunter sent a $49 gift to streamer Kai Cenat during a fundraising session and was left disappointed when the popular YouTuber did not acknowledge his gift.

"He didn't even see mine," Hunter said.

Hunter and Cenat earlier appeared on a livestream together, with the CU star even revealing a new move he plans on doing in Week 11.

Travis Hunter lives a 'boring life'

Playing on both sides of the ball requires a lot of energy from Travis Hunter, and during an interview with ESPN, he revealed that he lived a "boring life" in order to sustain his energy levels.

"Pretty often, people say I can't be real, and it's amazing what I do," Hunter said. "I don't like to party, I don't like to go out. I barely like talking to people sometimes. I literally wake up, go do my football stuff, get my recovery in and I'm back at home. Football, school, fishing and playing my video game. That's it.
"I've never been tempted,. I love my lifestyle. I love being the boring person I am."

Hunter's Colorado coach, Deion Sanders, with whom he shares a close relationship, has repeatedly sung his praises due to his discipline and maturity. During a news conference a few weeks ago, Sanders revealed the reasons why he got along so well with the two-way star and regularly went fishing with him at his ranch in Texas.

“We talk about everything,” Sanders said. "He’s (Hunter) a good human being, he’s not smoking, not drinking, not outside whoring, not doing crazy things. He’s got one of the highest GPAs on the team, he’s a great human being, and he can play, his character is second to none."

Travis Hunter is on the cusp of a startling Heisman Trophy win and is being tabbed as a first round pick in the 2025 NFL draft, making his "boring lifestyle" even more intriguing for college football fans as his stellar season continues.
