Travis Hunter uses one word to describe fiancee Leanna Lenee hours after fan backlash

Colorado Buffaloes two-way star Travis Hunter was responsible for the moment of the weekend when he intercepted Oklahoma State quarterback Maealiuaki Smith in the first quarter of the Buffaloes' 52-0 domination. Hunter proceeded to strike the Heisman pose following the play. Hunter caught 10 passes for 116 yards, resulting in three touchdowns while adding two pass breakups, one tackle and one interception on defense.

Off the gridiron, a clip of Hunter appearing to argue with his fiancee, Leanna Lenee after the game went viral. In the clip, Hunter attempted to hug Lenee but she rebuffed his efforts while appearing to argue with him leading to fan backlash on X.

Hours after speculation went into overdrive about the couple's apparent fight, Travis Hunter uploaded pictures of himself and Lenee together during various times of the season.

Over the weekend, Leaanna Lenee tried different ways to shut down "beef" rumors between herself and Heisman contender Travis Hunter.

After the initial reaction from fans, Lenee posted a now-deleted picture of herself on her Instagram stories feeding Hunter chips with a catchy caption.

"Us while y'all talk sh*t about nothing y'all know," Lenee wrote on the post.

She further posted pictures of the couple after the Oklahoma game which caused the fan backlash.

"These pics were taken 30 seconds after that clip by the way," Lenne wrote. "Pls remember that social media is not real, and 5 seconds is not enough to understand a situation. You also never know what a person can handle mentally. Thank you baby for always trying to cheer me up. You truly are the greatest partner a girl could ever ask for."

Last week, Hunter sent Lenee and her friends to an all-expenses-paid trip to Los Cabos, where he decorated a hotel room with birthday decorations and a handwritten note, which she shared on Instagram stories.

Travis Hunter and Leanna Lenee started dating in 2020 when they were both students at Collins High School, in Texas. They plan to get married next year on May 24 after the two-way star gets drafted into the NFL.
