Former Ohio State quarterback C.J. Stroud looks forward to playing the newly released EA Sports College Football 25 game with his teammates. After three seasons with Ryan Day's Buckeyes, Stroud was picked second overall in the 2023 NFL Draft by the Houston Texans. He put up an impressive debut season for the team.

Stroud talked about how he and his teammates are trying to get their hands on College Football 25 to spend time in the locker room. The quarterback also said the game will help lift their spirits as they prepare for the 2024 NFL season.

"Right now, you know we got the College Football game out. So we're trying to get that in the locker room so guys can play and have some fun with that. But yeah, I mean just like being boys. There's no like secret sauce you put in there. Just guys being guys you know," Stroud said.

The quarterback also shared his thoughts on his iconic celebration, 'The Squabble,' being a part of EA Sports College Football 25. He joked about getting a paycheck for his celebration being included in the game.

"I like it, yeah I like it. Yeah they put the squabbling. I need a cheque, you know what I'm saying like. Nah, it's all good," he added.

Apart from C.J. Stroud, Lamar Jackson seems to have shared enthusiasm for College Football 25

C.J. Stroud is not the only NFL player excited about College Football 25. Ravens QB Lamar Jackson is another person who shares the same love for the new NCAA game.

Before the release of the game, Jackson shared a tweet on X where he talked about how former college players like him and C.J. Stroud should be the first ones to try out the game.

"People talking about wait like the rest they played their college years and missed out. Nah homie I'm very impatient. Former college players should have 1st dibs idc how former it is," the quarterback wrote.

On the positive side, gamers will be able to employ collegiate legends such as Lamar Jackson and others in collegiate Football 25's Ultimate Team mode. So far, C.J. Stroud has not been confirmed to appear in the game.

However, as CFB 25 continues to receive updates and patches, the former Ohio State quarterback may soon appear in one of the Ultimate Team packs.
