UCLA vs. Washington: Game Summary
After an 11-minute scoring drought to open the first quarter, Washington broke the tie with a 15-yard touchdown scamper from Jonah Coleman to give the Huskies a 7-0 lead entering the second quarter. UCLA responded on their ensuing drive with a 28-yard field goal, cutting the lead to 7-3 in the opening minutes of the second quarter.
Washington forced a fumble and capitalized with a touchdown pass from Will Rogers to Keleki Latu, extending their lead to 14-3. UCLA answered before the half, marching 65-yard in ten plays with a touchdown pass from Ethan Garbers to Kwazi Gilmer to cut the lead to 14-10 entering halftime.
UCLA got things going in the second half with a 40-yard field goal to bring the score to 14-13. Washington broke a 10-minute scoring drought in the third quarter with a field goal of their own, extending their lead to 17-13 going into the final period.
Washington scored 14 unanswered points in the fourth quarter, with a touchdown reception from Decker DeGraf followed up by a Jonah Coleman touchdown run, extending their lead to 31-13 with under two minutes left.
UCLA mustered one final touchdown drive to bring the final score to 31-19 with Washington coming out on top.
