The Big Ten's 2024 preseason media rankings have sparked plenty of reactions, particularly with Michigan landing at the No. 4 spot. Despite an undefeated run to a national title last season, the Wolverines' ranking has left many CFB fans debating about their position.

One fan wasn’t even happy with the Wolverines at the fourth spot. He tweeted,

"Agree with top 3, UM way too high. 🔥🔥"

Another chimed in, "Ngl…Michigan at 4 is WILD."

The sentiments were echoed by another CFB enthusiast who simply said,

"Michigan is ranked too high."

Michigan, the three-time defending Big Ten champions, will be without several key players this season, including their head coach and quarterback. This turn of events might have led to this variation. However, some fans are optimistic about the future.

"Michigan will finish #2," one fan predicted.

"Michigan getting written off by everyone might be the biggest story of the offseason. That defense is gonna be top tier and their run game might be even better than last year," another added.
