Former NFL quarterback Peyton Manning was seen helping out Texas Longhorns starting quarterback Quinn Ewers. Ewers was attending the Manning Passing Academy.

Manning, who has a $250 million net worth according to Celebrity Net Worth, was seen helping Ewers work on his sideline throws. It is a very tough throw for quarterbacks as they have to go across the entire field, but it is an important to throw to know about.

Some fans were surprised that Manning was helping Ewers given that his nephew is Arch Manning who is the backup quarterback at Texas. With Manning's camp, he arguably wants everyone to succeed.

The Manning Passing Academy has been around for 27 years and helps football players develop into potential NFL prospects.

Quinn Ewers has been the Longhorns quarterback for two seasons and decided to return after 2023 instead of declaring for the NFL draft which was a bit of a surprise.

Entering 2024, Ewers is the starting quarterback but Arch Manning is the backup QB and many fans want him to get some starts in 2024. Texas coach Steve Sarkisian was on Always College Football and said this is Ewers' team in 2024.

“Without question, the area that stands out the most is his leadership,” Sarkisian said (via On3). "This is his team.”

Entering 2024, Sarkisian said Ewers has been more vocal and is more of a leader, so he expects his QB to have a solid season.

“Year 1, you’re coming in as a transfer and you’re just trying to figure it out. Year 2, I think he was really ready to step into the role, (then) he gets that injury against Houston and then he’s trying to work his way back,” Sarkisian said.
“This offseason, this year, he is much more vocal, much more in command of what we’re doing, and has earned our trust, quite frankly, to get us in and out of some things. Just his command and his leadership with a lot of new receivers. You definitely see that.”

Last year, Ewers went 272-for-394 for 3,479 yards, 22 touchdowns and six interceptions.

Ewers led Texas to the college football playoff last season.
