WATCH: Alabama freshman Zabien Brown steals the game with last-minute interception to shut down Georgia

The Alabama Crimson Tide extended their winning streak to four games following a thrilling victory over Georgia on Saturday. True freshman DB Zabien Brown was one of the key players with a major role in the victory.

After leading the game for three quarters, Alabama trailed by one point in the fourth quarter after Carson Beck's TD pass to Dillon Bell. However, QB Jalen Milroe quickly turned the tide with a 75-yard TD pass to Ryan Williams inching his team closer to victory.

With just a minute left, Beck tried to pass the ball toward the corner of the endzone as a last-ditch effort. However, Zabien Brown made a textbook interception which proved to be the final nail in the coffin for the Bulldogs. The interception sealed the victory for Kalen DeBoer's team, bringing them a step closer to competing for the national championship.

After the game, Alabama coach Kalen DeBoer praised the freshman DB. He talked about how Brown is a talented player and his skills will continue to develop and get better.

"I know he's a smart guy and sooner or later, he was going to read what was going on and make a play. Young guy, he's only going to continue to get better. He's a heck of a player," DeBoer said.

Coming out of Mater Dei, Zabien Brown joined Alabama as a part of the 2024 recruiting class. Despite being a freshman, he has started in all games this season for his team. The freshman DB has put up eight tackles, one interception, and one pass defended this season.

Alabama QB Jalen Milroe's stats vs Georgia

Jalen Milroe again proved why Nick Saban put his faith in him last season. The QB was a key player in Alabama's victory against their SEC rivals.

Milroe finished the night with 374 passing yards and two TD passes, rushing for 117 yards and two touchdowns. He completed 22-of-the-33 passes he attempted with an 81.8% completion percentage.

Jalen Milroe's 75-yard TD pass to Ryan Williams in the fourth quarter to give the Crimson Tide the victory showcased his demeanor and mentality. If he can remain consistent with his performances, then maybe Kalen DeBoer has a chance of winning the national championship in his debut campaign as Nick Saban's successor.
