Jalen Milroe is set for his senior season at Alabama in 2024. The quarterback secured the starting role at the program last season and is set to retain it despite the coaching changes in Tuscaloosa.

Milroe is keeping the vibes alive in the Crimson Tide team ahead of the fall camp. He is already building a brilliant connection with one of his new receivers, Ryan Williams. The five-star recruit is set for his freshman year in the upcoming season and might get some game time.

While Williams was shooting a TikTok video alongside some other freshmen, Milroe added some fun to the coverage by videobombing the freshman. The quarterback was seen dancing across the camera while the video was recorded.

Jalen Milroe happy with the arrival of Kalen DeBoer

The Crimson Tide hired Kalen DeBoer as the replacement for Nick Saban, who announced his retirement in January. This has been a great development for Jalen Milroe, who is set to become the coach’s first starting quarterback during his tenure in Tuscaloosa.

"The new hire with coach DeBoer has been awesome," Milroe told 247Sports in June. "It's been awesome to have him here and have the opportunity to learn and grow as a player and also be around this new phase, in a sense.

“At some point it was going to happen. No matter if it was now or 10 or 15 years. Whatever (Saban) chose, it was going to happen. So what a great opportunity to learn and be around somebody different and expand my knowledge and be a student of the game.”

DeBoer is an offensive-minded coach, which is obviously a huge advantage for Milroe. The coach orchestrated one of the most explosive offenses in college football at Fresno State and Washington.

Kalen DeBoer names what he wants to see in Jalen Milroe in the fall camp

With the 2024 college football season fast approaching, Kalen DeBoer has outlined what he wants to see in Jalen Milroe when the team resumes for the fall camp at the end of July.

“And so just when he hits fall camp, I think just having 100 percent confidence in every concept we put in,” DeBoer said while giving an assessment of Milroe in May.

"Especially in the first week or two that he’s had rep after rep after rep and can not just execute but also run the whole show. Just telling every guy what their responsibility is. And so it goes beyond your position, it goes on to leading the rest of the offense.”

DeBoer wants to uphold the winning culture at Alabama in the upcoming season following the exit of Nick Saban and Milroe will play a crucial role in that.
