Georgia Bulldogs quarterback Carson Beck is one of the leading candidates for the Heisman Trophy this season. The Bulldogs were on rest this week. Off the field, Beck has partnered with clothing company Pacsun to showcase some of their new graphic tees.
The company released a video that showcases these on their Instagram.
This isn't the first time the Georgia quarterback has partnered with this brand. Earlier this year, Beck was involved in a campaign to advertise the company's new active wear.
But, unlike this recent advertisement, he was not alone, working alongside Colorado Buffaloes quarterback Shedeur Sanders in the advertisement.
Carson Beck injury update
Carson Beck has been recovering from an injury sustained during the Bulldogs game last week against the Kentucky Wildcats. It was a nail-biting 13-12 win for the Bulldogs to continue their good start to the season.
This week, Bulldogs coach Kirby Smart gave an update on Carson Beck's injury.
“I don’t know where all that’s coming from, we got like seven AC joint sprains, so that’s not a significant or major injury. Carson (Beck)’s fine. He’s practiced both days,” the Bulldogs coach said.
From Smart’s comments, it seems the AC sprain that Beck sustained in the game with Kentucky is a minor one. Moreover, given that he is already practicing, it's a positive update for Georgia fans.
Also, the extra week of recovery will only benefit Beck and the Georgia team, who will need him in their game next weekend against the Alabama Crimson Tide.
This will be one of the season's most important games, determining who will advance to the SEC Championship game and receive a first-round bye in the expanded 12 team College Football Playoff.
Both teams are coming off rest weeks and are likely to be at full strength. Carson Beck will need to be 100% healthy if he is going to lead the Bulldogs to victory over the Crimson Tide.
