Fans in Colorado were eagerly awaiting five-star QB Julian Lewis's visit to Boulder on June 22. They planned a warm welcome for him with banners and posters, chanting, "We Want Juju." The Buff Nation is pulling out all the stops to lure the athlete away from Lincoln Riley and USC, where he had pledged since last August.

Watch the video shared by Colorado agent Laura Levy on X, showing the crowd that gathered for Lewis outside Folsom Field's Champions Center:

The quarterback has been showered with love from Buffs fans since his latest recruiting visit. Even The Sink, an iconic Boulder restaurant, honored the Colorado target by naming a cheeseburger after him, “Ju Ju’s Precision Pass Burger.”

Additionally, Buffs Nation has shown support with banners for other visiting recruits, including four-star offensive lineman Chauncey Gooden, four-star wide receiver Quanell X Farrakhan Jr. and three-star wide receiver Evan Hayes.

Colorado commits Alex Graham, Mantrez Walker and Corbin Laisure have also visited Boulder.

Committed to Colorado over Miami, LB Mantrez Walker is a close friend of Julian Lewis

Julian Lewis is ranked as the top quarterback in the Class of 2025 by both ESPN and Rivals. Over the past two seasons at Carrollton High School, he completed nearly 66% of his passes for 7,212 yards and 96 touchdowns. In 2023, he threw for 48 touchdowns with just two interceptions.

Additionally, Mantrez Walker, a linebacker committed to Colorado over Miami, is a good friend of Lewis and could play an important role in persuading the five-star QB to switch to Colorado.

"I've been knowing JuJu (Lewis) since we were young," Walker told the Coloradoan last month. "We played for the same little league team. Me and him have been tight for a minute."

Lewis is not the only recruit that Coach Deion Sanders and his staff aim to secure a commitment from this weekend. It remains to be seen what surprises await the Buffs.
