Deion Sanders' boys are sweating it out on the practice field to improve for the next season. The Colorado Buffaloes didn't have a particularly good year last season in the Pac-12 conference. Now ahead of their Big 12 reunion in the fall, the team's offensive and defensive units went head to head to test themselves.
A video is going viral on social media that showed the intense battle between the offensive line and the defensive line. The clip was shared by a Colorado fan page, crediting it to Coach Prime's son Deion Sanders Jr. Players battled it out with each other to fill the gaps that were so evident in both the lines last year.
Here is the video showing Deion Sanders' Colorado Buffaloes engaged in an intense practice session featuring offensive line vs defensive line drills.
The offensive line was seen wearing black and the defensive line was dressed in white for the drills. Some standout players in the session were the likes of defensive end BJ Green, defensive lineman Anquin Barnes Jr. and the transfer from Pittsburgh Dayon Hayes.
The Buffaloes finished dead last in the Pac-12 last season, losing eight of their last nine games of the regular season. That made their perfect 3-0 start to the year meaningless, as they missed out on the postseason entirely. Despite finishing 4-8 overall, an improvement over their 1-11 record in 2022, fans had higher hopes for Coach Prime's debut season.
Ari Temkin makes big 2024 prediction for Deion Sanders Colorado
While fan expectations seem to be lower in Boulder this upcoming season, some in the college football world think this could be Colorado’s year. One of them is CFB analyst Ari Temkin. The Big 12 Radio analyst made a big prediction for Deion Sanders' boys as they make a switch to the Big 12. According to him, the Buffaloes have a playoff ceiling.
"I'll say Colorado's ceiling is playoffs. If you've got one of the best QBs in college football, you've got a chance. Shedeur is so good despite the fact that they had no offensive line play,” Temkin told Andy Staples of On3.
Coach Prime himself has promised the fans to get the team to the postseason Bowl game this year.
